RENOVATION PROJECT

Denizli Teraspark is an interior design project in which it is aimed to recreate attraction through a colorful design. Cinema halls, atrium spaces, food court and watercourt are the spaces that were reconsidered in the design process.

CINEMA

The interiors of the cinema inside Teraspark Shopping Mall and Entertainment complex attract attention by means of its colorful design. The objective of the project is enabling circulation with the help of lighting elements. In the Teraspark Cinemas, it was aimed to create spaces where human perception and circulation is transformed into basic design elements, and to render signage systems to be in harmony with the general layout.

Main colors are chosen to ease the human perception for the lighting elements. The florescent-based lighting elements are mounted on the floor and the ceilling to guide circulation. The entrance to the cinema hall is painted with a color that fits the colors of the lighting elements on the floor, thus directing the audience towards the gate. Lighting elements and colors also serve as direction for box offices, cafeteria and bathrooms.

GREEN COURT

PLAN & SECTION

Located under the large atrium of the Teraspark Shopping Mall, the interior landscape design consists of several small islands that together create a green archipelago. Each island is comprised of different plants and carries different functions. Above the islands are several brightly colored lighting elements that are hung from the atrium. The islands that are reserved for the children’s play area and kiosks have the same color scheme as the lighting elements above, thus referencing each other in the overall design.
