Yazgan is a finalist at The Plan Award 2024 with its three projects
We are happy to announce that our three projects are finalists at The Plan Award 2024.
The projects are Palas Campus in the 'Office & Business' category, Chisinau Arena in the 'Sport & Leisure' category, Voronet House in the 'Villa' category. The winners will be announced at the award ceremony which will be held in Milan on 14th November.
Bucharest Architecture Annual, 22th edition 2024
Kerem Yazgan was a jury member for the Bucharest Architecture Annual, 22th edition 2024 (AAB2024) initiated and organized by Chamber of Romanian Architects, Bucharest Branch.
The Bucharest Architecture Annual is one of the most important architectural events in Romania, constantly promoting the architecture made by Romanian architects, members of the Chamber of Romanian Architects, in Bucharest but also in the country and abroad. The Bucharest Architecture Annual is composed of 4 categories: Built Architecture, Interior Design Architecture, Architecture & Research, Portfolio Architecture.
Çuhadaroğlu Student Project Competition
Kerem Yazgan was a jury member at the Çuhadaroğlu Student Project Competition hosted by METU Faculty of Architecture.
SHARE Architecture Awards 2024
Kerem Yazgan was a jury member at the SHARE Architecture Awards which took place at the Athens Conservatoire on October 7th and 8th. Over 75 teams of architects from 16 countries in Central and Southeastern Europe, gathered in Athens to present and the jury evaluated their projects in distinct categories, from cultural, educational, healthcare, and commercial architecture works, to residential or city planning.
SHARE Greece 2024
Kerem Yazgan was a guest speaker at the SHARE Greece 2024 International Architecture Forum. His presentation titled "Deep Section" aims to explore the future of architecture through working on a system section and its dynamic relationship with environmental factors.
Amahoro Stadium inaugurated
Designed by Yazgan Design Architecture, Amahoro Stadium with a capacity of 45,000 spectators, the largest stadium in Rwanda, was opened with an official ceremony on July 1, 2024, with the participation of Rwanda's President Paul Kagame and President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Patrice Tlhopane Motsepe.
City'Scape Award to Hamamyolu Urban Deck
Hamamyolu Urban Deck received the 2nd prize in the Street Landscape category at the City'Scape Award 2024 held in Milan Triennale on
12th July 2024.
Paysage Promozione e Sviluppo per l’Architettura del Paesaggio with the international magazine TOPSCAPE in collaboration with the CNAPPC - Consiglio Nazionale degli Architetti, Pianificatori, Paesaggisti e Conservatori organized the award program and the symposium as part of the promotion and development of landscape architecture.
Excellence Award to Palas Campus from Romanian Order of Architects
Yazgan Design Architecture received the Excellence Award from the Romanian Order of Architects, Iasi branch, for the Palas Campus Project!
The award was presented by Ştefan Bâlici, President of the Ordinul Arhitecților din România and Alin Holbea, President of the Romanian Order of Architects, Iasi branch - OAR Iași, during the RAM 2024 Gala.
Palas Campus achieved LEED Platinum and EDGE Certifications
Palas Campus, the largest office building in Romania, located in Iasi, achieved two green certifications: LEED Platinum, the highest LEED certification level granted by the U.S. Green Building Council and the EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) certification by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) a member of the World Bank Group.
Energy performance, low carbon emissions, water consumption savings, materials utilized and connectivity are the parameters with a substantial impact in confirming the high performance level of the building.
The opening of Yazgan's exhibition in İstanbul
"From the Effect of Architecture to the Knowledge of Architecture: 20 years of Yazgan Design" exhibition opened in Tophane-i Amire Tek Kubbe Hall on 8th November 2023.
