Yazgan Design Architecture at Gazi University Artchifest 2025
On December 9, Kerem Yazgan and Begüm Yazgan participated in Artchifest, an event organized by the Gazi University Illustration Community at the Faculty of Architecture. As invited speakers, they delivered two presentations, “Inner Gardens” and “Deep Section”, sharing their design approaches and ongoing research with students and attendees. The event brought together architecture students, academics, and young designers.

Our managing partners Begüm Yazgan and Kerem Yazgan participated as speakers at SHARE Romania 2025 – International Architecture and Technology Forum held in Bucharest on 11–12 November. They presented their talks titled “Inner Gardens Instead of Walls” and “Deep Section". In the second part of the event, Kerem Yazgan delivered an additional presentation titled “Digital Façade”.
Eczacıbaşı Sports Hall Wins at the 16th Arkitera Awards
The Arkitera Awards, organized by the Arkitera Mimarlık Merkezi, were presented for the 16th time at a ceremony held on December 4 at the headquarters of Kastamonu Entegre. Eczacıbaşı Sports Hall, designed by Yazgan Design Architecture, received one of the first-place awards in the Private Sector Category of the Arkitera Employer Awards. The award was presented to Eczacıbaşı Holding A.Åž. during the ceremony. As a multifunctional sports and events complex, Eczacıbaşı Sports Hall brings together a parametric design approach, operational adaptability, and principles of sustainable architecture. The project stands as a significant contribution to Istanbul’s contemporary sports and cultural infrastructure.

Ayvalık Stone House, previously selected as a finalist in the Future Project – Residential / Hotel category, received an Honorable Mention at the SHARE Architecture Awards 2025. The ceremony took place in Dornbirn, Austria, bringing together distinguished architects, designers, and industry leaders from over 20 countries. At the ceremony, Kerem Yazgan, Managing Partner of Yazgan Design Architecture, received the award.

Kerem Yazgan at the IV Kayseri Architecture Festival

Ayvalık Stone House Selected as a Finalist at The Plan Award 2025
Ayvalık Stone House, a project by Yazgan Design Architecture, has been selected as a finalist in the House category at The Plan Award 2025. Our managing partners will attend the ceremony in Milan on November 7th, where the winning projects will be announced.
Eczacıbaşı Sports Hall Officially Opened
Designed by Yazgan Design Architecture, the new Eczacıbaşı Sports Hall in Kartal — a 4,000-seat venue built to FIVB and CEV standards — has been inaugurated. The opening ceremony, attended by public officials and prominent figures from the volleyball community, also hosted our managing partners Begüm Yazgan and Kerem Yazgan.

Begüm Yazgan was a speaker at the Ä°stanbul Architecture Summit'25 on 26-27th April 2025 organized in the Ä°stinye University. She gave a lecture titled "Flexible System Design".

SHARE Ä°stanbul 2024
Kerem Yazgan and Begum Yazgan are joined SHARE Ä°stanbul 2025 on 11th February. Begum Yazgan was the moderator and Kerem Yazgan was a speaker. His presentation titled "Deep Section" focused on the unexplored depth of architecture and its dynamic relationship with environmental factors and how can we understand it by working on a system section.
Yazgan is a finalist at The Plan Award 2024 with its three projects
We are happy to announce that our three projects are finalists at The Plan Award 2024.
The projects are Palas Campus in the 'Office & Business' category, Chisinau Arena in the 'Sport & Leisure' category, Voronet House in the 'Villa' category. The winners will be announced at the award ceremony which will be held in Milan on 14th November.
Bucharest Architecture Annual, 22th edition 2024
Kerem Yazgan was a jury member for the Bucharest Architecture Annual, 22th edition 2024 (AAB2024) initiated and organized by Chamber of Romanian Architects, Bucharest Branch.
The Bucharest Architecture Annual is one of the most important architectural events in Romania, constantly promoting the architecture made by Romanian architects, members of the Chamber of Romanian Architects, in Bucharest but also in the country and abroad. The Bucharest Architecture Annual is composed of 4 categories: Built Architecture, Interior Design Architecture, Architecture & Research, Portfolio Architecture.

SHARE Architecture Awards 2024
Kerem Yazgan was a jury member at the SHARE Architecture Awards which took place at the Athens Conservatoire on October 7th and 8th. Over 75 teams of architects from 16 countries in Central and Southeastern Europe, gathered in Athens to present and the jury evaluated their projects in distinct categories, from cultural, educational, healthcare, and commercial architecture works, to residential or city planning.
SHARE Greece 2024
Kerem Yazgan was a guest speaker at the SHARE Greece 2024 International Architecture Forum. His presentation titled "Deep Section" aims to explore the future of architecture through working on a system section and its dynamic relationship with environmental factors.
Amahoro Stadium inaugurated
Designed by Yazgan Design Architecture, Amahoro Stadium with a capacity of 45,000 spectators, the largest stadium in Rwanda, was opened with an official ceremony on July 1, 2024, with the participation of Rwanda's President Paul Kagame and President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Patrice Tlhopane Motsepe.
City'Scape Award to Hamamyolu Urban Deck
Hamamyolu Urban Deck received the 2nd prize in the Street Landscape category at the City'Scape Award 2024 held in Milan Triennale on
12th July 2024.
Paysage Promozione e Sviluppo per l’Architettura del Paesaggio with the international magazine TOPSCAPE in collaboration with the CNAPPC - Consiglio Nazionale degli Architetti, Pianificatori, Paesaggisti e Conservatori organized the award program and the symposium as part of the promotion and development of landscape architecture.
Excellence Award to Palas Campus from Romanian Order of Architects
Yazgan Design Architecture received the Excellence Award from the Romanian Order of Architects, Iasi branch, for the Palas Campus Project!
The award was presented by Åžtefan Bâlici, President of the Ordinul ArhitecÈ›ilor din România and Alin Holbea, President of the Romanian Order of Architects, Iasi branch - OAR IaÈ™i, during the RAM 2024 Gala.
Palas Campus achieved LEED Platinum and EDGE Certifications
Palas Campus, the largest office building in Romania, located in Iasi, achieved two green certifications: LEED Platinum, the highest LEED certification level granted by the U.S. Green Building Council and the EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) certification by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) a member of the World Bank Group.
Energy performance, low carbon emissions, water consumption savings, materials utilized and connectivity are the parameters with a substantial impact in confirming the high performance level of the building.

YAZGAN 20th YEAR EXHIBITION
On the 20th anniversary of its establishment, Yazgan Design Architecture is organizing an exhibition in which our theoretical and practical approaches to the discipline of architecture will be presented with the visuals and models of our selected projects. Our exhibition will be held in Ankara CerModern between October 19th. - November 2nd., and Istanbul Tophane-i Amire Tek Kubbe Hall between November 9-23.
The Plan Award 2023
Three projects of Yazgan are shortlisted at The Plan Award 2023. Demirköy Visitor Center and Kınay House in the hospitality category, Asım Kibar OIZ Office in the office category and YDA Center in the mixed use category wil compete to be a winner.
World Architecture Community Award 44th Cycle
Asım Kibar OIZ Office is selected as one of the best designed projects in 44th Cycle (2023) by World Architecture Community.
World Architecture Festival 2023
Yazgan Design has been shortlisted for World Architecture Festival for its project METU Coworking and Cafeteria in the Future Projects- Education category. WAF 2023 will be held in Singapore from 29 November to 1 December.

100th building of Yazgan
Palas Campus, the largest office building in Romania, opened in the city of Iasi
Designed by Yazgan Design Architecture, Palas Campus, the largest office building in Romania, opened on 25th April 2023 in Iasi with an official ceremony and with the participation of Romania's Prime Minister, President of Iulius Company, U.S. Ambassador to Romania, Ambassador of Romania to the United States of America and General Manager of Amazon Development Center Romania.
​The biggest tenant in Palas Campus is the e-commerce firm Amazon, which has more than 2,000 employees in the city. Amazon's development centre in Iași is the biggest across Central Eastern Europe. Microsoft, Visma Software and AMD Romania are also among the 13 multinational firms that have taken space in the building.
World Architecture Community Awards 43th Cycle

Eskisehir Technical University Design Club Presentation
Begum Yazgan and Kerem Yazgan were invited to the Design Club Meeting organized by Eskisehir Technical University. They explained the philosophy of Yazgan Design Architecture with various examples from other disciplines and projects of Yazgan with a presentation titled "flexible system design".
