In the shopping mall, the overall design is based on the idea of linearity, variety and differentiation. The generic mass is sliced into smaller pieces and shifted along two directions which allows for the generation of positive space. Positive spaces not only act as green areas, also work as cafe gardens, service areas, plazas and terraces. Each volume gains a different character on the facade with the use of variety of patterns and media wall. The differentiation shows itself in the heights of the volumes as well. Central volume, generating the overall organization, turns into a glass box which basically works as main circulation and allows for entrances in the east and west directions.
